• Driver must be older than 25 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience: We can make exceptions if you have good driving experience with manual transmission.

• Mandatory cleaning fee of 35 Eur at the end of the trip:  Possible to get 50% OFF. More details will be sent by email around 10 days before you arrival

• Check-in: 15h30  & Check-out: 10h  (We have a self check-in and check-out system so you can arrive whenever you like after 16h or leave before 10h)

  We are flexible with check-in and out times if we have the availability to do so. 

• We are available on the phone 24h/7d during your rental

• You will have a signed contract with all the information during the rental period

You can come via public transport to Carcavelos train staton and we will pick you up for free.

If you cancel your reservation 30 or more days prior to the scheduled pick-up date, you will be reimbursed the whole amount you paid until that date.

If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days and more than 15 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, you can choose between a 50% refund or receive a flexible travel voucher for the full amount valid for 1 year. 

For cancellations made less than 15 days to the scheduled check-in date, you are entitled to receive 40% travel voucher of the full amount of the booking. 

*Vouchers are valid for 1 year  from the date of the rental and only usable during low season (from 01/11 – 30/04. Excluding the holiday season in Dec-Jan).

If the cancellation is coming from the customer, any payment fees and charges are covered by the customer.

The VW Westfalia has third party insurance valid in Portugal. It covers the legal liability of third-party property damage. Any damages caused to the van where it is your responsibility are not included.

The insurance also includes 24/7 road assistance and glass coverage in case you have any issues during your trip.

In case of an accident, please call us immediately to help you solve the situation.

We offer an option for a full risk insurance. The price for this can vary from 20-30 Eur extra per day depending on the length of your trip. This is a full risk insurance with a franchise of 1000 Eur. If you’re interested, please contact us and let us know to provide a quotation.

The security deposit is €1000 payable via bank transfer/ PayPal / Revolut previous to arrival. The deposit will be given back 10 working days after check-out.

The deposit will only be used in case of any damages during your trip.

The less luggage you bring, the more comfortable you will be.

Cleaning: The campers will be carefully cleaned with bleach diluted in 70% alcohol as recommended by the CDC (National Control Center of Prevention and Sickness)
to ensure the maximum sanity level possible.

Self Check-in: In order to avoid contact, I have created a comprehensive guide so we have the minimum contact possible. A full self check-in is possible, but it is also possible to meet for a few minutes in case you need further assistance.
